Overview of Ages

• Designed for 4-year-olds.

Expectations

• Priority: Fun is the first priority; the league is designed for making new friends and learning a little about baseball and teamwork.

• Environment: Non-competitive with no scores kept. Parents are highly encouraged to be on the field to support the kids.

Batting Rules

• Method: Batters hit off a provided tee using a thin yellow Wiffle bat.

• Rotation: Each batter hits the ball and circles the bases. There are 2 full rotations of the lineup per inning (1 team finishes 2 complete rotations = ½ inning).

• Safety: Only one plastic bat is in use during game time; no sword fights allowed.

Fielding Rules

• Technique: Emphasis on "soft hands" and positioning to throw.

• Conduct: No piling on when fielding; players must not interfere with runners.

• Outs: There are no outs recorded.

Game Play Rules

• Duration: Games are 3 innings long and take place on Saturday mornings.

• Season: 10-game season, weather permitting (no makeups for rainouts).
